Terms of Use for Repair of Product

These Terms of Use ("Terms") outline the terms and conditions under which FixEasy ("we" or "our") provides repair and maintenance services ("Services") for your electronic devices. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

 

1. Service Agreement

By requesting repair or maintenance services from FixEasy, you enter into an agreement with us. This agreement includes the specific repair or maintenance services you request and the associated costs, as outlined in your service order or invoice.

 

2. Scope of Services

We will perform the repair or maintenance services as specified in your service order or invoice. We strive to complete all services with the utmost care and professionalism. However, we do not guarantee the outcome of the repair, and some issues may be irreparable. In such cases, we will inform you accordingly.

 

3. Service Warranty

We offer a warranty on all spare parts replaced or repaired by us. The warranty duration is specified on your invoice and covers the specific parts and services mentioned. Our warranty terms are detailed in our Warranty and Refund Policy.

 

4. Device Condition

Your device must be in a working condition other than the specific issue you are seeking repair for. We do not accept devices with pre-existing unrelated issues. Any accidental or intentional damage to the device after our service may void the warranty.

 

5. Claiming Warranty

To claim warranty service, you must:

Provide video evidence of the issue to our support team.

Share your phone number, order number, or IMEI number for verification.

Contact us through the provided channels, including phone and email.

 

6. Warranty Exclusions

Our warranty does not cover the following:

Accidental damage

Display issues not related to the repaired parts

Excessive damage to the device

Subsequent mishandling or drops

Water damage

Tampering with internal hardware

Loss of data during the repair process

Jail-broken devices

New damages unrelated to the original repair

 

7. Shipping

Customers outside the Chennai region must send their devices to us via courier at their own risk and cost. We will return the repaired device to the customer's confirmed address. Additional charges apply for pickup services.

 

8. Cancellation

If you decide to cancel the repair after the assessment has been completed, a cancellation fee may apply based on the assessment and diagnostic process.

 

9. Payment

Payment for repair services is due upon completion and collection of the repaired device. We accept various payment methods as communicated at the time of collection.

 

10. Changes to Terms

We may update or revise these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the date of the latest revision will be indicated. Your continued use of our Services after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

Payment for Services

Payment Terms: By using the services provided by FixEasy, you agree to pay all fees and charges associated with the services as outlined in the service order or invoice. Payment is due upon the completion and collection of the repaired device.

 

Accepted Payment Methods: FixEasy accepts various payment methods, including but not limited to cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payment apps, and bank transfers. The specific payment methods available may vary and will be communicated to you at the time of collection.

 

Currency: All prices and charges are quoted and payable in the local currency, unless otherwise specified in writing.

 

Late Payments: In the event of late payment, FixEasy reserves the right to charge interest on the outstanding amount at a rate specified in your invoice or at the legally applicable rate.

 

Disputed Charges: If you dispute any charges on your invoice, you must notify FixEasy in writing within [number of days] days from the date of the invoice. Failure to do so will be considered an acceptance of the charges.

 

Collection Costs: In the event that FixEasy is required to engage a collection agency or legal services to collect any outstanding payments, you agree to be responsible for all costs and expenses incurred in connection with the collection of overdue amounts, including but not limited to collection agency fees and legal fees.

 

Refunds: Refunds are subject to the terms outlined in our Warranty and Refund Policy. If you are eligible for a refund, the amount will be processed using the same payment method originally used for the transaction.

Repair Clauses for iOS Users

Use of Non-Apple Parts: Please be aware that FixEasy may utilize non-original Apple parts to repair your iOS device. While these parts are of high quality and compatible with your device, they may not be sourced directly from Apple Inc.

 

Impact on Apple Warranty: It's important to understand that having your iOS device repaired by FixEasy may void any existing Apple warranty that applies to your device. Apple's warranty typically covers devices that have not been serviced by unauthorized repair providers. You acknowledge and accept that the repair performed by FixEasy might affect your device's warranty status.

 

Statutory Rights: Some jurisdictions have laws that may not allow limitations on implied warranties, or they may grant you additional rights that cannot be waived. These legal provisions supersede any limitations or exclusions outlined in these terms of use. Your statutory rights, if any, remain unaffected by these terms.

 

Fair and Reasonable: You agree and acknowledge that the limitations and exclusions of liability and warranty presented in these terms are fair and reasonable. They have been provided to protect both you and FixEasy, ensuring a clear understanding of the terms and conditions under which repairs are conducted

 

Terms & Conditions

 

1. Commencement of Agreement:

This Agreement becomes effective from the date you book a repair with FixEasy and remains in force until we have completed the repair or returned your Device, whichever occurs first, and we have received any due payment.

 

2. Repair Efforts and Service Quality:

FixEasy will make reasonable efforts to repair your Device, subject to the availability of necessary parts and the terms of relevant guarantees or warranties. We commit to performing the service with the utmost care and skill, ensuring your Device is in capable hands.

 

3. Quality Parts Usage:

For all Device repairs, FixEasy employs Genuine, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), or high-quality compatible parts, ensuring the quality and longevity of the repair.

 

4. Passcode Requirement:

In order to test your Device before and after the service, FixEasy may require access to your device's passcode. If you prefer to maintain this information as private, we can proceed with the appointment. However, please note that without access to the passcode, a full functional check may be delayed until you return to our store.

 

5. Completion Time Estimate:

Any time estimate provided for the completion of the service is approximate and does not create any binding obligation under this Agreement. While FixEasy aims to return your Device as promptly as possible, please be aware that certain complex repairs, such as Board Level (Level 3) repairs, may take a minimum of 5 working days to complete.

 

6. Notification of Service Issues:

In cases where we encounter challenges preventing us from completing the Service or situations where additional costs beyond the initial estimate are expected, we will promptly inform you via telephone and/or email. If no issue is discovered with your Device, or if you decline our revised estimate, we will return your Device unrepaired. In such instances, FixEasy reserves the right to impose an inspection fee in line with our standard charges.

 

7. Manufacturer's Warranty:

It is important to note that using our service may void your device's manufacturer warranty. If you wish to maintain your manufacturer warranty coverage, we recommend contacting the manufacturer directly for repairs. Please be aware that manufacturer warranties typically do not cover accidental damage.

 

8. Warranty Seals:

Following a repair, FixEasy may install warranty seals. Any attempt to tamper with these seals will result in voiding our warranty on the service performed.

Prices indicated with an asterisk (*) are for reference purposes only. The actual price may vary based on the condition of the device. For accurate pricing information, kindly contact FixEasy directly.
